Dress to impress and join us for a fabulous spring day out combining fashion, millinery, food and a beautiful journey across Port Phillip Bay.

Fashions on the Ferry begins at the Melbourne Ferry Terminal in Docklands, where you’ll join fellow guests aboard Port Phillip Ferries for a stylish cruise across the bay to Portarlington. From there, a private coach will whisk you away to the stunning Oxley Estate, where the afternoon unfolds with bubbles, beautiful food, a Bellarine Peninsula wine tasting, millinery, personal styling and plenty of time to relax, mingle and enjoy the surrounds.

This isn’t simply about getting to the destination. The journey is part of the occasion.

Your Spring Day Out

Your day begins at Docklands before boarding the 10:40am ferry to Portarlington. Settle in, enjoy the views and get to know your fellow guests as Melbourne disappears behind you and the Bellarine comes into view.

Arriving in Portarlington at approximately 11:50am, your private coach will be waiting to take you directly to The Oxley Estate. On arrival, you’ll be welcomed with a glass of bubbles to get the afternoon underway, before settling in for a day of delicious food, beautiful surrounds and, of course, fabulous millinery.

At the Estate, award-winning Melbourne milliners Catherine Storm and Natalie Bikicki will showcase specially curated collections, sharing the stories and creative process behind their work through a relaxed presentation and Q&A.

You’ll have the opportunity to browse the collections throughout the afternoon, try on different pieces, receive personal styling advice and purchase your favourites directly from Catherine and Natalie.

Graze, Browse & Enjoy

Throughout the afternoon, enjoy a generous deluxe grazing table designed for relaxed spring entertaining.

Expect premium cheeses, cured meats, gourmet crackers, artisan breads, dips, seasonal fruits, olives, cornichons, dried figs, chocolate, fresh honeycomb and delicious accompaniments.

You’ll also enjoy a Bellarine Peninsula wine tasting featuring three local wine varietals, adding another taste of the region to the afternoon.

Additional beverages will be available to purchase from the bar throughout the afternoon, leaving you free to settle in, socialise and enjoy the Estate.

About Catherine Storm & Natalie Bikicki

Award-winning Melbourne milliners Catherine Storm and Natalie Bikicki bring their passion for beautiful millinery to this special spring experience. Both are regular finalists in the Melbourne Cup Lillian Frank AM MBE Millinery Award. Recently Catherine won 2nd Place in Millinery Australia’s 2026 Design Award.

Throughout the afternoon they’ll share their creative process, talk all things millinery and styling, and help guests discover pieces that complement their individual style. Their curated collections will be on display throughout the event, with pieces available to try and purchase.
