From the moment you step aboard, everything is taken care of. We can arrange your return ferry travel, quality accommodation, golf and tee times, plus all the local transport you need to get between the ferry, your hotel and the courses.
No designated drivers. No navigating unfamiliar roads. No chasing tee times or coordinating transfers. Just bring your clubs, enjoy the journey across the bay and get ready for some seriously good golf.

Itinerary Day One
- Ferry to Portarlington: The ferry departs Docklands in front of Marvel Stadium. Times differ between weekday and weekend sailings. Boarding commences 20 mins prior to departure.
- Breakfast: Once on the water, a light breakfast is provided from our onboard cafe as you cruise across the bay and relax before round one.
- Portarlington: The ferry takes approximately 70 mins and arrives in Portarlington. Here a shuttle bus will be waiting to take you and your golfing group to your first tee time.
- Motorised cart hire is optional: Most golf clubs have motorised carts available, however, these are not included in the package price and will be charged as an added expense. If you’d like to book motorised carts please select this option in the booking form when prompted.
- Wind down: Once you’ve finished you’re free to have a drink at the club and take it easy and we’ll come and pick you up and take you to your accommodation.
- Accommodation: You and your group will stay in one of 18 newly renovated boutique rooms at the Portarlington Grand Hotel. Our accommodation is modernised to meet the highest standards of luxury, while still enclosed in stunning historical architecture, there’s sure to be few experiences like it.
- Diner (not included in the package): There are multiple options for dinner in and around Portarlington including the Grand Hotel itself. From a light bite to something more substantial, the hotel has multiple dining options from a beer garden to a bistro, and all menus celebrate local produce and the food is amazing.
Itinerary Day Two
- Morning Golf: Once you’ve had some breakfast we’ll transfer your group to your second Golf Course ready for your morning tee time.
- Post Golf: Once you’ve finished your second round at an arranged time we’ll then transfer you back to Portarlington Pier in time to board the return ferry.
- Return trip: Once on the water, your package includes one complimentary beer, wine or soft drink from our fully licenced onboard cafe.
A quick note about Saturday golf
We’ll always do our best to accommodate your preferred travel dates and courses. However, Saturday morning tee times can be particularly difficult to secure due to member competitions at many clubs. If you’re planning a weekend getaway, we recommend keeping this in mind when selecting your preferred dates and being flexible with Saturday afternoon tee times where possible.
Parking at Docklands
The most convenient car park is at Marvel Stadium as it is directly across the road from the Melbourne Ferry Terminal. There is an overnight rate, however, this must be booked online >> Marvel Stadium Parking

Please note: Package requests will only be actioned 14 days prior to departure. However, to secure your preferred date it is advised to make your booking request at least 30 days prior to departure.
