Fergos Bongo VIP Tours

Port Walks – Bellarine

Explore Portarlington on a guided 30-40 minute tour and discover how the town evolved from a small fishing and farming village into one of the Bellarine Peninsula’s preferred tourist spots.

This informative tour highlights the fascinating history and heritage of the town and how this influenced the landscape we see today.

Portarlington Wine Tour

When you get off the ferry in Portarlington look for the Portarlington Winery Tours bus at the end of the pier.

Three of the Bellarine’s most exciting wineries are on the route, so you’re sure to find wines that suit you. See Scotchmans Hill, the Bellarine’s first winery with its multi-award winning wines and generous platters. Follow this up with the charismatic new kids on the block at Bennetts On Bellarine with some classic and alternative varietals charcuterie platters, wood-fired pizzas and delicious roasts.  Complete your Bellarine visit at Terindah Estate with quality single vineyard wines, fine dining in The Shed or casual dining on The Deck while enjoying spectacular bay views. 

The bus runs all year round on Saturday and Sunday bookings essential. Pick up and return to the ferry is $35 pp be sure to book in to secure your spot.

The Q Train

The Q Train is a travelling restaurant departing principally from the historic Drysdale Railway Station, just an easy 10 – 15 minutes away from Portarlington. The Q Train will take you to Queenscliff via Suma Park and then return to Drysdale.

Mustang & Co. were recent finalists in the “Tourism” category of the Geelong Excellence awards – they know how to look after you and your group with full VIP treatment.

They have a range of vehicles, so they can cater for multiple groups or larger bookings. The pride of their fleet is the 1966 Mustang Convertible; the experience of cruising around with the top down, in a vintage car puts a smile on everyone’s face.  The car can seat three adult passengers, plus driver.  There is also an option for a “Mustang Mover” (seats 7 passengers) or a “Mustang Mini Bus” (seats 11 passengers).

Bike Bellarine e-bike getaways

Experience the Bellarine by e-bike (electric bike) on a self-guided tour. Bike Bellarine offers two types of tours. The rules are simple. You ride and Bike Bellarine takes care of the rest!

Half Day Tour: Ride part of the rail trail and enjoy a long lunch at Banks Road vineyard before cruising back to Drysdale to catch your ferry back to Docklands.

Overnight Tours: Includes accommodation with breakfast at Athelstane House in Queenscliff, plus a tour of the Point Lonsdale Lighthouse or Queenscliff Maritime Museum. Bike Bellarine will deliver your overnight luggage direct to the accommodation too.

Anchor Maritime Services

Whether you’re a keen fisherman, snorkeler, diver or would like to cruise around Port Phillip Bay watching the seals and dolphins play, Anchor Maritime Services have a trip to suit you. A certified a Parks Victoria licensed tour operator, Anchor Maritime Services offer a unique day out for all ages on their 26FT, 8 passenger Catamaran ‘Otway Odyssea’.

Regular trips depart from Portarlington Harbour with a range of Charters and Eco tours available including; snorkeling trips (every 2 hours), half or full day fishing charters (pre-booked only) and full day South Channel Fort & Popes Eye tours (pre-booked only).

Geelong Taxi Network – MyBus

MyBus Geelong offers customised transport for groups wanting to explore the Bellarine and beyond. They currently operate 2 air-conditioned mini buses seating up to 11 passengers each and a trailer for extra luggage.

MyBus Geelong can pick up at Portarlington Pier and take you to any of the stunning destinations on the Bellarine, such as accommodation, wineries, golf courses, festivals and functions. Ask for a customised tour if you want to explore several destinations on the Bellarine.

Need more than two vehicles? No problem. The fleet is backed-up by Taxi Network Geelong’s taxi-cab fleet, which allows us to also provide transport for larger groups or for those that require wheelchair-friendly transport.

Wheelchair Accessible Taxis

The Geelong Taxi Network has a special services team dedicated to providing accessible transportation services on the Bellarine Peninsula.

Their fleet of around thirty Maxi Taxis comprises Toyota Commuter vehicles which can fit up to two wheelchairs and have a passenger capacity of between four and 10 people. Maxi Taxis are a popular option for groups and booking in advance is recommended, where possible.

Catch a courtesy but to the multifaceted Portarlington Golf Club.  The clubhouse offers ample entertainment, including TAB, Keno and Foxtel, function areas and an award-winning bistro, which is open 7 days for both lunch and dinner.

Their Courtesy bus will gladly pick up any passenger with a valid Ferry ticket.  Call  to book the bus while you are on the Ferry, or just give us a call at your leisure after shopping or seaside frolicking…They’ll happily take you back to the town when you’re ready.

Bella E-Bike Hire

These electric bikes are ready for you to ride, explore and have fun.  It is a hop, skip and jump for a great adventure; hop off the ferry, skip to  your electric bike. It’s the easy way to cycle around the Bellarine Peninsula and catch the view, visit your favourite winery or eat at one of the numerous cafés.

They supply quality German electric bikes, helmets, locks, baskets and can transport you if required.  The bikes come in different sizes to suit the individual rider.  Riders must be over the age of 18 years.

Relive the joy of cycling the easy way, and then finish your adventure with a relaxing ride on the ferry back to Docklands.

Portarlington Beach Motel courtesy bus

Book a room at the Portarlington Beach Motel when travelling via the ferry from Melbourne, and get the free courtesy bus to and from the motel.
