A Grand Day Out (Departures from Docklands, Melbourne) > Cruise across the bay to visit the magnificent and historical Portarlington Grand Hotel. Standing tall on the main street since 1888, the hotel has now completed a magnificent renovation and is open for business. Only a short walk away from where the ferry docks, look up the hill towards the hotel turret which will lead you to our oasis.

On arrival, you will be transferred (a short distance) to the departure point for The Q Train, Drysdale Railway Station (as featured on Masterchef). Sail across the bay via Port Phillip Ferries service and when you arrive hop on board the Wine Wheels shuttle bus to be transferred to the iconic Jack Rabbit Vineyard the ‘must do’ destination of The Bellarine. The casual and very friendly House of Jack Rabbit Cellar Door serves up terrific bistro-style fare whilst those opting for the Jack Rabbit Restaurant are in for a gastronomic contemporary dining treat. Classic Mussel Tour > An intimate boat tour that celebrates the famous Portarlington Mussels. Take the ferry direct from Docklands to Portarlington in only 70 minutes. When you arrive you’ll jump off the ferry and straight onto Valerie, a fully refurbished 40-year-old mussel boat that be ready to take you out for a luxurious and unique coastal experience. When you head out of the harbour you” be sipping on a local Bellarine wine and learning about the various stages of mussel farming from our mussel farmer Lance Wiffen. Cruise across Port Phillip Bay from Docklands to picturesque Portarlington.  Your electric bike will be waiting for you, some quick instructions and adjustments then you’re off to ride your e-bike on the Bellarine Peninsula.
