This brand new experience showcases the very best of the Bellarine, combining a scenic ferry journey, coastal sightseeing and local flavours into one easy and memorable day out.
Your adventure begins with a cruise across Port Phillip Bay aboard a modern fast ferry, complete with all the creature comforts, before arriving into the charming seaside town of Portarlington where your hosted Bellarine touring experience begins. From the pier, you’ll jump aboard a comfortable shuttle and set off exploring the stunning Bellarine Peninsula.
Along the way, you’ll visit a hand-picked selection of regional favourites, including Bellarine Smokehouse & Provedore for artisan smoked goods, Ket Baker for fresh pastries, or one of the region’s boutique vineyards for a tasting experience, before arriving at the main event, a visit to one of Geelong’s most loved brewery experiences, Little Creatures Brewery.
Little Creatures Brewery in South Geelong is a true Geelong icon with roots that stretch back to Fremantle, Western Australia. Little Creatures first made its name in 2000 with its distinctive hop-driven Pale Ale, helping shape Australia’s love of fresh, flavour-packed craft beer. Its Geelong home opened in 2013 inside a beautifully revived old wool mill, bringing the Little Creatures spirit to the East Coast.
At the brewery, you’ll enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour, a guided tasting paddle and a relaxed lunch of gourmet pizzas in the Little Creatures cafe. It’s warm, lively and welcoming, especially in winter, with hearty food, fresh beer, cosy corners and plenty of atmosphere.
After lunch, sit back and enjoy the return journey to Portarlington Pier in time for your ferry back to Melbourne.
