A Grand Day Out Package

Package available Monday, Wednesday – Friday (excluding public & school holidays) and includes a return ferry, lunch and a drink and access to the Grand Shuttle Service (see below)

Choose your preferred seating time from either 11.30 am or 1.30 pm.

Cruise across the bay on a modern fast ferry and visit the magnificent and historical Portarlington Grand Hotel. Standing tall on the main street since 1888, the hotel has now completed a magnificent renovation and is open for business.

The Grand Day Out Package not only includes your return ferry journey, but it also includes lunch and either a glass of house wine, a pot of tap beer or a refreshing soft drink. Before or after your lunch at the hotel, schedule a walk down the main street of Portarlington to visit the beautiful boutiques and local shops. Or if you have time, you can schedule a quick trip out to a winery using the Grand Shuttle Service which is available for Grand Day Out patrons.

Wed-Fri Lunch will include your selection of one of the following*:

• Portarlington Mussels Provencale with Toasted Sour Dough
• Traditional Parmigiana served with Chips & Salad
• Salt & Pepper Calamari with Chips & Salad
• Spaghetti Puttanesca
• Fish & Chips with Salad
• Lambs Fry with bacon, mashed potato, braised peas and caramelised onion gravy

Note: If your party intends to be seated together at the same table, please only make one booking. Separately made bookings will not be guaranteed to be seated together. Menu items are seasonal and therefore are subject to change.

Package Details:

Package cancellations are non-refundable within 48 hours of travel unless cancelling due to COVID-19-related reasons in which case we would alert PGH and provide the customer with a credit (gift card) to be used towards a future booking within 3 years.

The maximum table size is 9 when booked together, however, if you require a larger table, please send a request at least 48 hours prior to travel as per the details below (subject to availability).

Groups of 10 or more people

For group enquiries of 10 or more people, please send a request at least 72 hours prior to travel to [email protected] or call 03 9514 8959. Pier/hotel transfers; if you have group members with limited mobility and require a transfer vehicle from Pier, please request one at the time of booking. Please note this is subject to availability and therefore not guaranteed. (max capacity 10 seater vehicle).
