Join us this Melbourne Cup for a Grand Cup experience at the Portarlington Grand Hotel.

Start the day in style aboard a 35 m catamaran as you sail across the bay in only 70 minutes to Portarlington. When you arrive you’ll make your way to the hotel where you will receive a cold glass of sparkling bubbles to get proceedings underway.

In the lead-up to the big race, there will be Sweep Steaks on offer for those who want a little flutter, and there’ll also be a prize on offer for a ‘Fashion on the Lawn’ parade for those who want to strut their stuff.

The package also consists of a delicious lunch from the Grand Day Out Atrium menu.

Once the race is run and won, you and your group will be able to head down to the ferry at 4:30 pm and enjoy a fast ferry ride back to Melbourne departing at 5:00 pm. On the way home you can keep the good time rolling at our onboard licenced bar and enjoy a few drinks on the way home.

Please Note: There is a short walk uphill from the Portarlington Ferry Terminal to the hotel. If assistance is needed for this there is an 11-seat shuttle bus available at no charge that can be booked directly with the hotel in advance. As this bus only has 11 seats it will be booked on a first-in-first-served basis.
