Port Phillip Ferries is excited to announce a partnership with the Geelong Racing Club for the 2022 bet365 Geelong Cup. In celebration of this exciting and historical event, we have put together a selection of packages that include event access, return ferry tickets from Docklands, and shuttle bus access connecting the Geelong Ferry Terminal to Geelong Racing Club.
Take a fast ferry directly from Melbourne to the Geelong Racing Club and arrive at the races in style. With large inside and outside seating, accessible toilets, and a licenced cafe on board, you can start your day with a glass of bubbles, as you cruise across the bay directly to Geelong. Shuttle busses have been arranged to take you to and from the races and after your day you can take the easy way home and enjoy a nice cold beer or wine as you cruise across the bay back to Melbourne.

About the event
The Geelong Cup is fast becoming one of the most important lead-up horse races to the Melbourne Cup. It’s where form is put under the microscope and legends are made. No greater than the 2002 Geelong Cup which played a pivotal role in the story of jockey Damien Oliver, Irish trainer Dermot Weld, and his horse Media Puzzle, who took a gamble on their mount to win the race.
Event dress code
Race wear attire is encouraged for both men and women on Geelong Cup Day. Men should dress smart casual with a jacket and/or tie to be worn at all times. No shorts, t-shirts, denim, runners or thongs will be permitted in any members areas.
