Ferry to Inspire Sustainability Heroes
Thanks to the teams at Marine and Freshwater Discovery Centre and Caring for our Bays – Bellarine Catchment Network the 2-hour interactive experience will allow your child to learn about marine creatures, caring for the environment and an introduction to responsible fishing.
Bookings are essential, and spots are limited to 20 children. All professionals are accredited and specialist educators. While in Geelong you will have free time to explore and grab a bite. Be sure to check out these great offers from local cafes and restaurants click here.
What’s included:
- Return child ferry ticket Docklands to Geelong

Please note:
- A parent or guardian must accompany Children at all times onboard ferry and for shore-side activities.
- Children must be aged 6-13 years with a valid FISH Club ticket to take part in activities.
- To avoid disappointment, Children must have a Fish Club package ticket to access activities and inclusions. Availability for activities is limited to 20 children per departure.
- Please board at 9.00 am from Port Phillip Ferries Docklands Terminal. Our crew will direct you to where the Fish Club activities will be held onboard. Ferry boarding closes 3 minutes prior to departure times.

What to wear & bring
- For warm and wet weather days please dress accordingly. Remember being on the bay weather can change throughout the day so it is best to dress in layers.
- Be sure to slip, slop, slap, seek, slide to protect yourself from the sun.
- As some of the locations may be slippery when wet, we recommend to wear closed comfortable shoes (no thongs / flip flops).
- Water and cold drinks are available for purchase at the Off with the Ferries Café in Docklands, onboard the Geelong Flyer and various locations in Geelong.
- Don’t forget your camera for those happy snaps.
