Back with a fresh lick of paint is ArtVo. Having closed its doors for 16 weeks in 2019, ArtVo has re-opened with a reprisal of its famed immersive art experience. Jump into 80 new artworks that have been masterfully created by 15 artists, 1000 litres of paint and 800 hours of dedication and hard work. With an ingenious new theme, ‘Fantasy’, set about exploring polar ice caps, space, forests, oceans and so many more fantastical settings. Adventure and creative vibes are aplenty at ArtVo.
The District Summer Music Sessions
Sip on a cold bevvie and get lost in great tunes at The District Summer Music Sessions. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon in February, musicians, DJs and bands will be dishing out an arvo of sensational music. With the stage set in the dining and entertainment precinct of the District Docklands, beers and burgers are all within arm’s reach, as is a sensational summer session complete with chilled vibes.
Occurring on the last Sunday of every month is the colourful and creative District Makers Market. With each market individually themed, joy is continually sparked with the diversity and richness of the offerings; art, craft, jewellery, homewares, gifts and artisanal produce. Free workshops and entertainment are purposefully placed around the market, intent on instigating engagement and enjoyment. Cheerful vibes are without a doubt in abundance.
