Local winery Bennetts on Bellarine have been busy bees with a cellar door refurb this past winter and spring, bringing their dream venue to life. We’ll admit we have been keeping watch on the renovations when passing by, and have been waiting with bated breath for the big reveal. *Exhales loudly. Wow- what a winter it has been for us at Bennett’s on Bellarine. We spent the season sanding, welding, painting, hammering, cutting… we’ll just cut to the chase – we were building. We were finally building the Cellar Door we have been dreaming about since we bought the property five years ago. Over the years we went through a few different versions to get here. Some may remember the old cow-milking shed from 2015, or the outdoor venue built out of shipping containers from last year.
Fast forward to today, we have finished our final renovation and have a brand new Cellar Door. With a “rustic rock” feel, we are looking forward to hosting old and new friends all summer long! And while the building may be new, it was important to us to include aspects from all our versions. It was such an adventure to get here; we really wanted to pay homage to where we have come from and where we are going. So for 2019 we are mixing some old with the new for a brand new and awesome product we think you will love.

FREE STUFF
We have a free, yes that is right we said free, wine tour that leaves from Portarlington Pier. Take the ferry across, jump on with Portarlington Wine Tours and come to visit us for the day. Staying locally? We do local pickups! Visit their website for pricing and availability.
MUSIC
Sunday funday is our favourite day of the week, and we aren’t about to change that! We will still have live music every Sunday arvo. It’s really the only way to finish off the weekend.

Last year we brought delicious wood-fired pizzas to the Bellarine. We are sorry to say that…. just kidding! We are thrilled to say we will be firing up the pizza oven all summer long for hot and fresh wood-fired pizzas.
