BUT IN THE MEAN TIME…. WE ARE STILL DIPPING OUR TOES IN GEELONG NOW AND THEN SO KEEP WATCHING THIS SPACE!

What You Should Know
The new Geelong service is all about offering people more choices on how they want to travel. Our vision has always been about making ferry travel accessible to as many Victorians as possible, and this new service takes us one step closer to that vision. We will adopt a timetable most suitable for the Geelong community, and we are working with the city on parking options and to ensure our ferry passengers have reliable connections to the wider Geelong region.

Why Take The Ferry?
Who said the daily travel from Geelong to Melbourne had to be unpredictable… stressful… rushed… uncomfortable? Our Geelong Ferry Trials will change the game for commuters and visitors… one cruise and we know you will be converted. A cruise to work that will leave you feeling refreshed, recharged and ready to smash your day. Go under the West Gate instead of over it, improve your health and reduce the stress with a ferry easy journey. There is no better way to travel, guaranteed!
We’re building a brand new, purpose-built ferry for the Geelong services – and she will be an absolute beauty. There will be seating for 400 – comfortable indoor seating, two outdoor decks and all the creature comforts such as free Wi -Fi, charging stations and drop-down trays. We love seeing all types of travellers enjoy the experience, so all will be welcome to use our bike racks. We will have room for wheelchairs and the ferry will be easily accessible for all via our boarding ramps. Passengers will be able to grab a coffee (or a wine) from our on board licensed cafe.
This morning I went to work on a cruise ship that took me from Portarlington to Docklands in great comfort watching the dawn over Port Phillip Bay , drinking a fine coffee and watching the morning news. No fuss, no stress, no traffic… and I’m in the city relaxed and happy. My only gripe is that you can’t buy a newspaper. Let’s all support this wonderful service because if we don’t it’s back to the traffic jam again.Flippy1984
