🏆 AO Grand Slam🏆

January in Melbourne means one thing: the Grand Slam. And while it most likely needs no introduction, here goes anyway. Dubbed ‘Australia’s Greatest Global Sporting Event’ the Australian Open brings the world’s Tennis elite Down Under in the first of four Grand Slam tennis events for the year. Preceding the French Open, Wimbledon and the US Open, the AO is always A+ viewing.

 

🎉 AO Festival + Food & Drink 🎉

This year the AO are delivering the city’s best food and drink offerings, so you can expect the food serves off-court to be just as impressive as those made by the players. On offer are delicacies from the likes of Beijing Betty, Biggie Smalls, Nobu, Hellenic Republic, Rockpool Bar & Grill, Huxtaburger, Hunky Dory Fish + Chips, and Mamasita. 🎵 AO Live Stage 🎵
13 – 27 Jan

The AO Live Stage is back and bigger than ever with 15 consecutive days of music. Go for the tennis, stay for entertainment (Craig David, Angus & Julia Stone, You Am I, the Teskey Brothers!!!). Alternatively, go for the music and treat yourself to a little world-class tennis in between. Whichever way you see it, the AO Live Stage has become one of Melbourne’s biggest parties and is hosting some of the hottest Australian and International acts. 📽 AO Sports Film Festival 📽

In a Grand Slam first, fans can mix up their tennis action with a daily dose of sports films at the inaugural AO Sports Film Festival. During the 14 days of the tournament, daily screenings will take place at three unique locations; AO Tennis Club at Birrarung Marr, The Glasshouse and AO Ballpark. There’s an amazing array of films on the line-up including The Mighty Ducks, Bend It Like Beckham, Soul Surfer, Coach Carter and  plenty more. Head here for the full schedule.

The AO Ballpark is the ultimate Summer family experience, with a a mini theme-pa rk and hub of kids entertainment onsite at the AO. Catering to the kids’ happy imaginations, the Ballpark is packed with fun and games for everyone.
