National Celtic Festival

This June long weekend (7-10 June), Portarlington will play host to the “National Celtic Festival”, an epic four-day celebration of the Celtic culture. This festival is regarded as Australia’s premier Celtic Festival and attracts over 15,000 people to the region over the long weekend.
The Festival uses a range of venues within the town, including community halls and spaces, the hotel, restaurants, cafes and churches. Marquees are also set up on the foreshore to provide additional venues; these include the Village Stage, Celtic Club, Wine Bar, and Celtic Markets.
The program is amassed with international and national artists and a broad & diverse range of art experiences. The Folk Market is filled with market stalls selling all kinds of interesting goods and crafts, as wells as a variety of delicious food to sustain even the hungriest festival reveller.
