Cruisy Tuesdays > Departing and returning from Docklands every Tuesday, these cruises are the way to experience Port Phillip Bay from a different angle. These 2.5-hour cruises aboard a modern 35-meter catamaran offers a fantastic opportunity to experience the beauty of the bay and its abundant marine life. As you set sail across to Portarlington and back, you’ll have the chance to relax and enjoy the stunning scenery that surrounds you, with the spacious catamaran providing a comfortable vantage point for taking in the sights.

Next Cruise departs Tuesday 16 April at 2.30 pm. Departing and returning from Docklands on the first and third Tuesday’s of every month, these afternoon cruises are the way to experience Melbourne from a different angle. Being in the afternoon these cruise include a beer or house wine, some cheese and crackers and some historical commentary along the way. PLUS if you are coming over from the Bellarine side of the bay we have a discounted package that includes return ferry tickets (terms and conditions apply).

Featuring the Wildlife Photography & Pako Festa Exhibitions >Port Phillip Ferries has an exclusive package featuring this year’s Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition showing at the National Wool Museum in Geelong. The museum is only a short 5-minute walk from where the ferry docks in Geelong so it’s the perfect little day trip from Melbourne if you’re looking for something a little different.

In 2024, Port Phillip Ferries is shaking things up with their Footy Ferries! Keep an eye out for the launch of some exciting “Special Services” tailored for the big games, like Easter Monday, set to be unveiled on the website soon. However, for most of the year the Footy Ferry Specials will be running out of Portarlington using the regular ferry timetable. Using these services allows for more time getting to the grounds from the Melbourne Ferry Terminal and getting back to the ferry after the game. This timetable also caters for more games and more teams, which is great for a wider range of supporters.

A Grand Day Out (Departures from Docklands, Melbourne) > Cruise across the bay to visit the magnificent and historical Portarlington Grand Hotel. Standing tall on the main street since 1888, the hotel has now completed a magnificent renovation and is open for business.
